It is 4:30 a.m. My cat has just caught a mouse. He is consuming it.
I have mixed emotions:
1) Oh Yay! He got the mouse!
2) How many calories are in a mouse? (He's on a diet).
3) Ick! I hate mice - how did he get in here? Are there more?
Go Kitty!

Thanks for stopping by and the pennies for dog vests story is so cute...what an animal-loving little girl!
Last night, one of our cats caught an OWL. My husband said it had to be sick or old because our cats are too slow and fat to catch anything but I tell you, all day today, I've been looking at them and thinking what bloodthirsty little fluffballs they are...
My cats catch mice in our garage all the time. Your thoughts crack me up! :) Thanks for the comment on my blog.
Our cat won't catch the mice, and we have several, one of the set backs of living near a river I guess. But the dog on the other hand, also on a diet, will eat anything that moves, except the cat, lol
I just wanted to thank you for always leaving such insightful and wise comments. I always want to send you an e-mail agreeing with you! I'm listening to your mom with regard to Edward.
Thanks again,
Barb
